The SMART Laboratory provides integrated experimental, analytical, and computational capabilities for sustainable manufacturing, AI-enabled manufacturing, advanced materials recycling, and energy technologies, including energy conversion and storage systems.

Our capabilities support federally funded research, industry collaboration, student training, and the translation of laboratory innovations into practical manufacturing, recycling, and energy applications.
